Hello everybody! :)

This is my 2F Coupé with 316k km. BBS alloys, G40 leather steering wheel, Genesis interior, G40/GT taillights. At spring it'll go lower (-4-5 cm) with Koni shocks and G40 springs. I've got two fog lights too (original Hella, like a new), I don't want to build in so it's for sale. :) If you want photos, i'll upload them there.

After the purchase and at the first day at home, in January 2009.

Stock Fox interior.

All the papers have got.

2010:

Interior. Original, not repaired. Yet. :)

2011:

It was in very bad condition, somewhere under one centimeter putty.

Image

Inner mudguard. Was. Once.

Made by a real Michelangelo. Welcome in the hungarian reality.

This was the solution. Repair item not available and it's cheaper than the original part.

This is the status of now. Black headlights the change compared to 2010.

(Sorry for the big picture.. Please resize it.. Thanks. :)) )

Cheers and Happy New Year!

üdvözlő! :coucou:
Where are you from in Hungary? I have a friend from Pécs.
That was sure an impressive amount of putty! That guy was the real Michalangelo!
The welding looks very professional, too.
Bonne continuation!

Üdv neked is! :D

I'm from Békéscsaba, about 300 km from Pécs to east.

When I saw this putty and this work, I almost died.. What a barbarian "work of art"..

The welding is very good, I like it too, now there be a little steel, not 20 kg putty..

Thank you for your laudation! :)

Szia!

I had a look at the map to see where Békéscsaba was - not far from the Rumanian border?
There is a forum member from Rumania - lepolo, but I don't know where from, exactly.
I have three Polo disels - but older, one 1987 87CMN2, a 1988 86CMN2, and a 1990 86CMN2.
I also have a 1980 Golf cabriolet that I would like to bring to Hungary in the spring to have some work done on it - Paint job, some welding on the underbody, and a new top. We'll see how that plays out.
Those are big items - vacation time, money for the repairs and the trip
You can always send me a MP..

sok szerencsét

Yes, it's near the romanian border. :)

My previous Polo was a 1989 diesel MN, but it went to the junkyard. :( Its engine died.

Why you bring it to Hungary? Is not it a big price? Or have you got a friend who work on it? :)

Köszönöm szépen!
Minden jót! :)

Szervusz Cimbora! :)

Az idő? Hideg.

More and more cooler from day to day, now -12 °C, at daytime -5 °C, tomorrow the snow is coming, about 50cm.. I'm so happy. I don't wait it..

Cold start? No problem, it's a VW! :D

I'm at the big plain, so the hill is impossible.. :D But it's no need. :)

Nice! Are they twins? :)

Szép napot!

Here are two videos about the today afternoon cold start.

I stopped the car at thursday.

The glow plugs are 4 yrs old with 60k km.

The choke broken, so it's not work. I don't know what's the problem, something is wrong inside the injection pump.

Today I put into the yellow, adjustable Konis to rear. The front is harder a bit, the semi-axis' bolt don't want to come down.. This become next weekend..

My 3 yrs old rear springs same as the 20 yrs old G40 springs that I bought to Christmas. So I put back the newer.

The front not same, the G40's spring shorter about 1 ring maybe.
